Ministries -- Eucharistic Ministers

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS distribute the Body and Blood of Christ to the congregation at mass and to home-bound parishioners.
Time Commitment: Once a month for assigned weekend mass or masses on Holy Days of Obligation. Once a month for the home bound as a Eucharistic Visitor (30 minutes).
Who can be a Eucharistic Minister? – A practicing Catholic, distinguished in their Christian faith and morals, at least 18 years of age having received the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.  Demonstrates a deep reverence for and devotion of the Holy Eucharist. Must be approved by the bishop for this ministry.
Training will be provided.
