Immaculate Conception Stewardship Day
In December, 2015, Pope Francis declared an Extraordinary Year of Mercy for the Catholic Church. Pope Francis calls all of us to be merciful by living the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. Jesus Christ calls us to be loving members of the Body of Christ by helping people in need.
This fall, Immaculate Conception Parish will offer parishioners the opportunity to live these works of mercy by participating in Stewardship Day, God's Work -- Our Hands on Saturday, September 17 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, with a picnic to follow. Parishioners can choose from two types of service -- Immaculate Conception Parish and non-profit organizations in the Clarion community. Possible service opportunities are lawn care, small home repairs, small paint projects, changing fire alarm batteries, and small cleaning projects.
If you are a parishioner who is in need of a service, please complete a "Request for Service" form which can be found in a basket under the bulletin board in the back of the church or you can view and print one by clicking HERE . You may even register online by filling out the form found HERE .
Parishioners who are interested in providing a service need to complete a "Registration Form for Service Ministers." The form includes a description of the service sites. This registration form my be viewed and printed by clicking HERE . If you prefer, you may register online by clicking HERE .
