Ministries -- Funeral Team
FUNERAL TEAM MEMBERS interact with the families during their time of need offering a warm, comforting presence to those attending the funeral of a loved one.
Duties: Assisting the pastor in preparation of the funeral mass, greeting and seating guests.
Each team will need a Lector and/or Eucharistic Minister.
Time Commitment: 1 to 2 hours per funeral. Each team is scheduled on a rotating basis as funerals are scheduled.
Who can be a funeral team member? – Any parishioner 18 years or older with a flexible schedule.
Training will be provided.
