Ministries -- Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic ministers are Confirmed Catholics who cherish a wonderfully spiritual experience offering the Body & Blood of Christ to our many faithful. The parish commitment is minimal; one turn a month on a three-month cycle, and volunteers choose to continue those cycles as long as they wish. Prior to his/her first turn, all new Eucharistic Ministers have a 40-minute Spiritual Formation group session with the Pastor which is very insightful and memorable. One of our Catechist Eucharistic Ministers will contact you for a 30-minute "nuts and bolts" training on ministry tasks after your Spiritual Formation. This training is usually done closer to the minister's first turn, and as convenient as possible to everyone's busy life.
Over the years, our volunteers in this ministry, some of whom stepped outside their comfort level to participate, remark how glad they are to serve.
