Cemetery Manager

Immaculate Conception Cemetery Association is seeking
a Cemetery Manager

Duties:
• Knowledge of cemetery lot maps – how to read, how to update
• Selling lots for burial, selling niches for cremains
• Collection of payment and delivery of payment to Treasurer of Association
• Communication with funeral directors and Cemetery Board of Directors and attendance at all Cemetery Association Board meetings.
• Laying out lot for burial – contacting grave opening suppliers for funeral arrangement dates, times, etc.
• Supervise Cemetery employees – They perform the mowing of grass, leveling grave sites, trimming around headstones, and any other duties determined by the Manager
• Have mechanical ability for repair and maintenance of mowers, tractors, trimmers as well as ability to procure repair parts as needed
• Purchase of necessary supplies and providing Treasurer of Association the necessary documentation, etc.
• Help in setting up scaffolding for the Mausoleum when there are interments and organizing personnel for casket and cremains interments
• Dealing with contact from potential lot purchasers and providing tours of the cemetery, pricing lists, information to them. Communicating with them via phone, in person, via text, via email.
• Dealing with everyday incidents and processes

Cemetery cell phone is provided with Cemetery email account built into phone.
There will be a training period with current manager to learn the details and processes necessary to be the Cemetery Manager.
